How to Close an Event
Principle
The system requires the administrator to formally close an event once all results, adjudications and defaults are known.
Practice
Select Event List/Event/Control/Edit Event.
Select the Date section and enter the End Date.
(Note that you can allow selected games to finish after the end date by setting the appropriate flag)
Webserver Actions
After you have closed an event, the system will stop any further administration or playing activity, flag unfinished games for adjudication, send completed results for grading, and make game scores available for viewing (if this option has been selected).
