How to Check Event Cross-Tables

Principle

Players may inspect the current standings of event cross-tables at any time.

Practice

  1. Select Tables and Results from the main menu and click the event you want to see, or;
    select Games List from the main menu, then select a game, then select Event/Cross-table or;
    select Personal Settings/Events from the main menu for your personalized list of events.

  2. If you click on Tables and results you will find headers at the top and events below.

  3. If you click on the different headers, you will go through the hierarchy of tables available until you find the event you want to view. At the top of the  Tables and results pages you will find a so-called "bread-crumb control" for easy navigation

  4. Events that offer live relay are marked "(Live)".

  5. Non server Events are found by clicking on the header Non Server Tournaments.

  6. Once you find the desired event, you can view the cross-table, which contains:

    - Event name, rating rule, TD name.
    - Player number (in this event)
    - National flag
    - Player title, name and rating
    - Results so far recorded, and scores per player
    - Tie-break (Sonnenborn-Berger or other method)
    - Results remaining per player
    - Event placings

  7. There are some quick links also available on the cross-table page, including:

    - Take leave for this event (disabled for non-server events)
    - Set your email notifications on/off for this event (disabled for non-server events)
    - Email the TD for this event (disabled in postal events)
    - Download the PGN game scores for this event (disabled in non-server events)

  8. You can also see the rules selected by the organizers for this event, time limit, start and end dates and TO name below the cross-table.
  9. The transmission method (Server, Email or Postal) is displayed below the cross-table.
